Questions?

We’d love to talk with you if you have any other questions.

Child Beyond is located near San Cristobal, Guatemala. Missions teams typically fly into Guatemala City and travel to San Cristobal where they stay at the Child Beyond International Team housing center. Teams work with villages in the rural areas surrounding the city.

You'll work as a team to build homes, build cooking stoves, install water filters, and share God’s love with children and families. You’ll complete projects that advance our work at the children’s home. You’ll have some time for sightseeing and shopping. But most of all, this trip is focused on reaching beyond yourself to others, with Jesus’ love and grace.

Most trips are about 7-10 days.

Mission trip cost varies, but most are between $800-$1000 (Not including round-trip airfare)

This includes all of the following:

  • Lodging in a comfortable, secure mission team housing center
  • All daily transportation, including airport pickup and drop off
  • Local project manager, translator and equipment for all projects
  • Daily breakfast, lunch and dinner
  • A donation to help with the loving care of our orphans at God’s Grace Children’s Home
  • One day touring Antigua, the famous Spanish colonial city or another tourist destination.

Mission Team Project Costs

Any supplies needed for outreach projects such as stoves, water filters, the building of homes, etc., will depend on what your team decides to do. The project cost is covered by your team.

The cost for these life-changing projects are as follows:

  • Efficiency Stoves: $250
  • Water Filters: $55 each
  • Two-bedroom Home: $4,160.00

Children age 8 and up are permitted to travel with an adult. A valid passport is required. Up-to-date immunizations based on your doctor’s advice are recommended, including Typhoid and Hepatitis A.
