Family Transformation Director Campaign

By God’s love, grace, and power, we are succeeding greatly with the first three "R's" of our mission (RESCUE, RESTORE, and RELEASE)  to lift up every abused, neglected, and abandoned child beyond despair and hopelessness to a brand new life of hope and healing in Christ Jesus. We need your help in completing the rescue mission for every child God brings to our children’s home through the 4th and final R – REINFORCE

REINFORCE: “to fortify or strengthen by additional assistance, material, or support; make stronger or more pronounced.” (Merriam-Webster Dictionary)

WHY IS MY HELP NEEDED?

In order to provide the best quality future (physically, emotionally, and spiritually) for each of the children in our care, we need to continue working closely with them after they are successfully rescued, restored, and released to their forever families. This will be the primary role of our new Family Transformation Director, who will work to Reinforce the almost miraculous restoration every child experienced before they are ready to start the next chapter of their new life with their forever family.

Our campaign goal is to raise an initial $30,000 to cover all the cost of our Family Transformation Ministry so every child is assured of constant follow-up, support, and spiritual oversight when they are released to their forever families.

We need YOUR help to start this vital final R (REINFORCE) ministry. Would you prayerfully consider making a generous donation to this final critical aspect of every child’s successful rescue mission?  Click the button below to make your donation today.

WHAT WILL THE FAMILY TRANSFORMATION DIRECTOR DO?

  • Create a vision that once a child comes into the Children's Home, that child is now under Christ’s umbrella of love and support for life.

  • Reinforce (Support, Strengthen, Educate) the child’s parents/caregivers to successfully love and care for them in the best possible way, body, mind, and spirit.

  • Oversee the child’s care and overall health, stability, and growth with regular visits to their forever families.

  • Provide important resources as needed (school supplies, medicine, etc…) for the child if the family can’t afford or provide those resources themselves.

  • Develop a strong, trusting partnership with vetted and qualified Christian churches and pastors in the towns the forever family live in to reinforce each family’s spiritual lives and faith connection to Christ.

  • Coordinate with those local pastors and our mission team director to assess when short-term mission teams could be brought to that town/community to offer practical and spiritual blessings (building houses, cook stoves, VBS, sports camp, medical clinics, etc. …) to reinforce the ministry of the local church in Jesus’ name.

Every goal and strategy of the Family Transformation Director is designed to release the transformational power of our Lord’s crucifixion and resurrection on the lives of our children, their forever families, and the communities in which they live.

Your generous support will help us bring lasting transformation to so many precious lives. Please partner with us and donate generously right now.

Rescue

God has called us to rescue abused, neglected, and abandoned children from a truly broken society through the mission of God’s Grace Children’s home in San Cristobal, Guatemala, where we lift children from hopelessness and despair to hope and healing.

“Give justice to the weak and the fatherless; maintain the right of the afflicted and the destitute. Rescue the weak and the needy; deliver them from the hand of the wicked.”

Psalm 82:3-4

“The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.”

Psalm 34:18

Restore

Once they are rescued and brought to our children’s home, the first vital steps of the journey of restoration begins – body, mind, and spirit. Through consistent, individual, loving care, each precious child is slowly healed of their physical wounds, emotional scars, and spiritual separation, all so that one day they can be released into a healthy and stable forever family, either their own or adoptive.

“God heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.”

Psalm 147:3

“Then the King will say to those on His right, ‘Come, you who are blessed by my Father; take your inheritance, the kingdom prepared for you since the creation of the world. For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me,…‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me."

Matthew 25:34-36, 40

Release

Having been fully restored in body, mind, and spirit, we seek to release each child into their new forever families. That day is always a special celebration as God bonds His once discarded but now restored children to a family filled with His mercy and compassion. Here they will receive love as only a caring family can give, along with our continuing support during the rest of their childhood and the resources needed to flourish. The Family Transformation Director’s consistent communication with our "released" children and their families will ensure that everything is going well and will keep us aware of any urgent needs that could be detrimental to the child or the family.

“He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak. Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall, but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.”

Isaiah 40:29-31

“The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; His mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is Your faithfulness.”

Lamentations 3:22-23

Reinforce

Through the comprehensive and effective goals and strategies of the Family Transformation Ministry, there is continued support for the forever families of our children and the communities in which they live. This will help to prevent a relapse of abuse or neglect, as well as equip families with the tools and resources to not just survive but thrive. This crucial reinforcement will be achieved through regular visits and communication with forever families as well as community impact events where we will partner with local churches and short-term mission teams to provide needed support to the forever families and to the communities they live in.

“Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.”

Isaiah 41:10

“The Lord is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer, my God, my rock, in whom I take refuge, my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.”

Psalm 18:2
